Guided Days
Whether you would like to catch your first fish, looking to learn new techniques or simply wanting to improve on your angling and river knowledge, an experienced guide can help with this, and as a result, help to catch more and bigger fish.
We offer full day and half day guided sessions which are available throughout the year for various species of game fish including salmon, sea trout, brown trout and grayling plus pike (all depending on seasons).
Our sessions aren’t just about helping anglers to catch fish on the day, although that is one of our main aims.
Our sessions involve teaching new and old techniques that can be applied on other waters as well as passing on knowledge of fly life relating to fly choice, and fish biology relating to fish behaviour, depending on time of year and conditions.
Knowledge that is vital in helping people become better anglers.
Available Sessions
Salmon Fishing – Full Day. Peak time July to September (lower and middle river) and October to November (upper river).
Sea Trout Fishing – Evening Session. Peak time June to July.
Trout Fishing – Full Day or Afternoon/Evening Session. Peak time April to June and from late August to September.
Grayling Fishing – Full Day. Peak time October to February.
Pike Fishing – Full Day. Peak time September to November and February to March.

Tackle & Equipment Use
Fly fishing outfits are available for guided sessions for salmon, sea trout, brown trout and grayling and both fly and lure fishing outfits are available for guided pike fishing sessions.
Flies from small dries and nymphs, to pike poppers and divers, leaders, and everything else needed for a day or half day session on a river or loch can also be provided.
Fly & Lure Fishing Outfits
Salmon & Sea Trout – Double handed and single handed outfits.
Brown Trout – Dry fly, wet fly and nymphing outfits.
Grayling – Tight line and indicator nymphing outfits.
Pike – Fly and lure fishing outfits.
